On the basis of European Directive 95/46/CE and subsequent national law, this company, Carrellificio Vicentino srl, with registered office at Viale Milano, 8 – 36075 Alte di Montecchio Maggiore (Vicenza) Italy, as “controller”, is required to provide certain information regarding the use of personal data.

Personal data in our possession can be collected directly from single customers and/or staff, or through agents and representatives when offers are made and/or when supply contracts are proposed or negotiated. Data can also be collected via third parties as in the case, purely by way of example, of data acquired from outside companies for the purposes of sales information, or from market research, or from other Carrellificio Vicentino srl customers or suppliers. Personal data can be used in the context of our company’s normal business activity for purposes connected with and instrumental to the management of contractual relations; for purposes connected with obligations imposed by law, rules and EC regulations, also by provisions emanating from legally empowered authorities and from supervisory and inspection agencies; and purposes useful to our activity, for which data subjects are free to indicate their consent or otherwise, that is to say management, statistical, commercial, operational, marketing, promotional and market survey and aftersales

We inform you that any personal data relating to you will be used in accordance with the principles indicated in the Data Protection Act, which states among other considerations that such data shall be:
- processed fairly and lawfully;
- obtained and recorded for specified and lawful purposes;
- accurate, and kept up to date if necessary;
- pertinent, complete and not excessive within the stated terms of use.

We inform you that personal data supplied by you or obtained by us in the course of contractual dealings can be disclosed to the following subjects, who perform functions that are linked closely with or instrumental to our activity and must therefore be regarded as fundamental to the operation of the company:

- to the tax authorities, to health and social security agencies if necessary, and to
  police authorities;
- to carriers or other agencies providing supply-related services;
- to companies or professional agencies engaged in fraud detection or credit
  recovery;
- to banks and credit institutes, in the context of corporate finance management;
- to insurance companies;
- to subjects entrusted with auditing of accounts and to administrative, tax and
  contract consultants.

Personal data supplied by you may also be disclosed to other companies of our group for the coordination of management activities
at home and abroad, both within the EEC and outside the EEC.
Your data will not in any event be published.

Finally, we inform you that under article 7 of the Data Protection Act, members of the public are at liberty to exercise specific statutory rights: data subjects can obtain confirmation from the controller as to the existence or otherwise of their personal data, and ask for such data to be made available to them in an intelligible form. In addition, the data subject is entitled to question the origin of the data, and the logic and purpose on which use of the data is based; to require that data be erased or converted to an anonymous format, or blocked if being used in violation of the law, also to request that data be updated, corrected, or added to if appropriate, and, where justifiable, to oppose the use of the data.

Kindly note that if there is a "refusal to answer" on your part at the moment of collecting information, this company may effectively be prevented from fulfilling its legal and/or contractual obligations in dealings with customers, staff or third parties.

Art. 7 Italian legislative decree (d.lgs.) 196/03 (Right of access to personal data and other rights)

1. The data subject is entitled to obtain confirmation as to whether personal data are being held on him/her or not, including data not yet registered, and to ask for a copy of them in intelligible form.

2. The data subject is entitled to enquire as to:
a) the source of personal data;
b) the purposes of handling and the handling practices employed;
c) the logic applied in the event of processing carried out with the aid of electronic instruments;
d) the particulars of the data controller, the data managers or processors and the designated representative in accordance with article 5, subsection 2;
e) the parties or categories of parties that personal data may be communicated to or the parties that may otherwise gain knowledge of the data during the course of their activities as designated representative in the region of the country, or as those in charge of data processing or their delegates.

3. The data subject is entitled to ask for:
a) data to be updated, corrected or, if so desired, added to;
b) data handled in violation of the law to be erased, transformed into anonymous form or blocked. This shall include any data whose storage is not necessary for the purposes for which the data were originally collected or subsequently handled;
c) a statement attesting that the operations mentioned under letters a) and b) have been made known (including their contents) to all parties to/with which data have been communicated or shared, except the case in which it proves impossible to comply or would entail a use of means clearly disproportionate to the right protected.

4. The data subject is entitled to object, either fully or in part:
a) to the handling of personal data held on him/her, for legitimate reasons, even where said data are relevant to the purpose of collection;
b) to the handling of personal data held on him/her for the purpose of sending advertising material or direct sales or for the purpose of carrying out market research or sending sales announcements.
